The Giving Tree
Verrado has a giving nature
The spirit of giving in Verrado is an important part of our community. Residents and community partners work together to bring this vision of giving and commitment to philanthropy to life.
The Verrado Assembly’s Giving Tree program began with a handful of likeminded residents committed to philanthropic initiatives. The first charity event associated with The Giving Tree was the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Buckeye in 2007, which brought the greater Verrado community together in the fight against cancer. In subsequent years, several fundraisers joined the effort.
Today, Verrado’s caring spirit continues to grow through The Giving Tree program, which facilitates accessible volunteer and philanthropic opportunities to all residents through our diverse nonprofit partners.
The Giving Tree is a majestic southern live oak planted on our community’s Grand Lawn that symbolizes our community’s philanthropic spirit.
